About Us
CPHC values the opinion, involvement, and energy of youth in our body of work. CPHC strives to create positive opportunities for youth by encouraging healthy behaviors and encourage healthy behaviors by collaborating with schools and community leaders to create environments that will enhance leadership skills, increase self-concept and become advocates in their communities. Below is our possible menu of services:
- Technical Assistance:
- Guidance on creating new programming and offering, including recommendation for evidence model program and support with training and implementation.
- Assisitance in identifying funding sources and connecting with partners.
- Funding:
- Scholarships for youth and staff to attend trainings and conferences
- Mini-grants for qualifying projects
- Additional funding is available by invitation.
- Training:
- Staff is available to provide trainings in our four content areas.
- CPHC also co-sponsors a Youth Program Staff Retreat annually.
- Presentations and Workshops:
- Presentations on our content areas using activities fro our tool-kit in classrooms and after-school programs to stimulate youth projects
- Curriculum Resources:
- CPHC tested activities are available as Tollkits for use in the classroom or after school programs.
- Lending library, including games, teaching materials and visual aids
- Print Resources:
- Brochures, tip sheets, handouts, posters, and booklets covering our content areas.
