The Parkside Neighborhood Center
works to strengthen individuals & families by offering educational
and cultural opportunities to connect diverse neighbors and promote
social and physical well-being.

Our Neighborhood
With over 5,000 residents, Parkside is the most densely
populated and ethnically diverse square mile in Maine.
The
neighborhood includes streets within Congress Street, Forest Avenue,
Park Avenue and St. John Street.
Many New American families, from
countries like Rwanda, Somalia, Iraq, and Sudan, live in Parkside.
